You need to arrive on the Sunday before the start date of the program. You will be picked up from the airport and taken to your accommodation.

Accommodation and Meals
Participants share a room together with other participants in single-gender rooms in volunteer accommodation.

Programs in India
There are different volunteering projects available which can be combined. You can build your own program on the application form where you can choose which project(s) you want to join and build your own program in India. For most projects you can start every Monday, except for the India Road Trip which have fixed start dates (see details below).
Culture Week in Goa
Experience the beauty and culture of this beautiful city. Get to know the people. Explore its natural treasures. Relax on its pristine beaches. Learn to bargain in its local markets. Visit forts, churches and learn about Goan history and heritage. Learn to cook an Indian meal. Take home with you an unforgettable experience.
Teaching at Migrant Outreach School in Goa India
Embark on a journey into Goa to teach English, conduct workshops and more to the migratory children who attend our school in the remote villages of Goa.
The school teaches various educative subjects to migratory children from underprivileged backgrounds. Here, you will have the opportunity to teach English, pass on hygiene and sanitation knowledge and also help at organized workshops on various need-based aspects such as sports, arts, awareness & environment.
Community Engagement in Goa, India
By lending your time and effort you would help in improving the quality of life of the local communities of Goa. This project is designed to provide basic informal education, life skills, arts and crafts. Participate in our endeavor to empower the local women to start up their own businesses. And provide them with proper materials and training to stand on their own feet. Join us in this project to inspire the less privileged and help the community to build on their own.
Construction and Renovation in Goa
Get your hands dirty and help the underprivileged communities and their schools in India with construction projects. The main construction site of this project is located at the migratory children kindergarten and at the local slum school, but the work can also take place elsewhere in the area where development construction assistance is needed. While assisting the local community with their developments, you will gain valuable experiences as well as cultural exchange with Indian people.
Goa Animal Welfare
Participate in maintaining the animal rehabilitation rescue center for cattle, goats, dogs and cats in beautiful Goa. These animals are invariably affected by life threatening road accidents. Give them a new lease of life by helping them recuperate and maintain their shelter until they find new homes. During monsoon, we go to the beach to feed the hungry animals.
Body & Mind in Goa
Spend the week practicing yoga and meditation in a week designed to relax your body and soothe your mind after your projects. Our program combines yoga and meditation with Ayurvedic treatments for your body. We will teach you the basics of yoga and meditation techniques – and what a better place to get educated about these body-soothing practices than in India!
Culture Week in Udaipur (Rajasthan), India
Immerse yourself into the culture, surroundings and more of this rich and colorful state of Rajasthan. This action-packed week in the Royal city of Udaipur in the state of Rajasthan will be filled with language lessons, markets and sightseeing! Through these activities, you will begin to get acquainted to this country and its culture, an important step into making your experience more enriching.
Kindergarten Teaching & Community Outreach in Udaipur (Rajasthan), India
Hop into this incredible and vibrant land of Rajasthan. Take part in teaching and imparting early childhood education to young kindergarten and school children willing to learn from you. Wildlife Sanctuary Program in Udaipur (Rajasthan), India
This sanctuary houses 61 species & is a safe haven for animals born in captivity, injured, in breeding programs & do not have the skills to survive in the wild. The program involves work at a biological park in various areas of development, redesigning and also assisting the staff with everyday activities. Get involved in a fun way to teach young school students about animal habitats using a project-based learning approach.

Are the program fees subject to change?
When you apply, we will email you your acceptance to the program together with a price quotation. When you confirm your booking paying your deposit within one month from the date you applied then your program fee will remain unchanged, even if the fees might change on the website during this time.
What is the average age of participants?
We have participants of different ages. Most are between 17 and 35 years. But we also have participants who are older. The programs are suitable for both younger volunteers and older volunteers.
What is the support like overseas?
We believe our support at our destinations is excellent, just check our testimonials and reviews to see what our customers said. We have full-time staff in each destination. It is their job to set up and coordinate your placement, check out your accommodation, meet you at the airport and provide you with any support you need.
Can I also join my friend or family member?
Yes, you can book any of our programs together with one or more people. We will then organize your program together. Just let us know when you sign up and you will each receive a discount of £35/US$45/AU$60/€40.
Can I participate for a short period?
Yes you can participate from one week (from 2 weeks for some programs). You have a choice of different projects where you can gain a fantastic experience.
How well should my English be?
Anyone who can understand and speak reasonable English and express themselves in English can participate in the program. The level of English of the children you will teach is usually low.
Is travel insurance mandatory?
Yes this is mandatory. You are responsible for yourself if something happens to you abroad. That is why you have to take out travel insurance yourself before you leave.
Will I be picked up from the airport?
Yes, you will be picked up from the airport by the local coordinator. Let us know your flight details and we will arrange this for you.
Can I choose what type of project I want to work at?
Yes you can certainly do that. During your registration you can let us know which project (s) you want to join. You work about 4-5 hours a day, from Monday to Friday. At the weekend you are free to travel or to discover the surroundings.
Are your programs suitable for an internship?
yes that is possible for some projects. In the past we have had several participants who have done our program as an internship. Contact us if you have specific requirements for your internship.
Can I combine different countries?
Yes you can combine different countries. That is a great way for a unique experience of different cultures in one journey.
Can I still travel around after the program?
Yes, you can do this, we have several volunteers who travel around after their program has been done or before their program starts.
Will other volunteers be present on the project?
The number of volunteers can vary depending on the period, the country and the project. We can not guarantee the presence of other volunteers on the project.
Do I have to reserve my flight myself?
Yes you book yourself for your flight. Once you book we will let you know the details of your arrival and then you can book your flight. Let us know your flight details and we will arrange your pickup on arrival.
What to do in case of difficulties on the spot?
In the event of difficulties on the spot, you should first contact the person in charge of the project on site to inform that person about your situation. If the problems persist, contact us so that we can help if needed.
When can I register?
The earlier, the better it is to be certain of your place on a project on the dates of your choice. You can still register up to 4 weeks before departure, we will let you know within 24 hours if the program is still available.
